We are evangelical Christians, you might even say fundamentalist. Now, what is a fundamentalist? Despite the what the liberal weenies in the media and the far-left say, a fundamentalist is NOT some bigoted, sexist, or other crackhead. A fundamentalist Christian, in very simple terms is one who believes in the basic tenants of the Bible and the faith that Christ preached. In short:
- Believes in that the Bible is inherently true
- Believes in the virgin birth
- in other words believes that Jesus Christ was born of Mary who conceived the Christ through the Holy Spirit
- Believes in Creation as opposed to Darwinism
- Believes that Jesus Christ was:
- Born of Mary through the Holy Spirit
- Was cruxified,died, and was buried
- Arose on the 3rd day
- Is currently Alive and in Heaven
We also believe that all you have to do is to accept Jesus as your savior in order to enter Heaven, no special tricks and no down payment required. We also don't believe that you can lose your salvation once saved. Its a one time thing. In order to grow as Christians, we must be consistently reading God's road map, the Bible, and, at least in my case, constantly asking God for forgiveness for one thing or another. However, just like you are always a member of your earthly family, no matter what, once you are saved, you are always a part of God's family.
